Sunday evening, April
27, brought together old friends of HFF. The
tradition of a spaghetti dinner was renewed with
great success. More than 50 people
attended the benefit to raise funds for the
purchase of a 15-passenger bus for the Dowd
Center. Pictures from the Past, created by Julie
Lovegrove, played throughout the evening. A
resident from 18 years ago shared about coming
to HFF as a pregnant single mother and no place
to live. Kim shared that she has a degree, is a
credit analyst at a major bank, owns her home,
and her son will graduate from high school in
June and enter Shawnee State in September. There
was not a dry eye at the event.
